SCHEDULE

The beauty of Hill Week is that you set your own schedule. Ride cue sheets are a starting point and you choose the order in which you do them. Mix and match A, B, and even G rides as you see fit. BUT, if you want to ride with a group, we have you covered. Below are start times and "rides of the day." 

A rides range from 60-80+ miles per day with 5,000 to 8,000 feet of climbing; B rides range from 30-50 miles per day with 4,000 to 5,000 feet of climbing; and G rides (gravel rides) ranging from 50-75 miles per day with 6,000 to 8,000 feet of climbing.

Saturday, April 22

  • 5-8 p.m.: Check in/Registration at Cambria Suites (Hill Week HQ); ride cue sheets handed out
  • Optional activities on April 22 include: Blue Ridge Marathon and Down by Downtown Music Festival

Sunday, April 23

  • 8 a.m.: Orientation/Pre-Ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A2, B2, and G2)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby

Monday, April 24

  • 8:45 a.m.: Pre-ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A3, B3 and G3)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby
  • 6 p.m.: Mill Mountain mountain biking (lights needed), meet in hotel lobby

Tuesday, April 25

  • 8:45 a.m.: Pre-ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A4, B4, and G4)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby
  • 6 p.m.: Blue Ridge Bicycle Club Tuesday Night Beer Ride, meet in hotel lobby

Wednesday, April 26

  • 8:45 a.m.: Pre-ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A5, B5, and G5)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby

Thursday, April 27

  • 8:45 a.m.: Pre-ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A6, B6 and G6)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby

Friday, April 28

  • 8:45 a.m.: Pre-ride meeting
  • 9 a.m.: Ride of the day (A7, B7 and G7)
  • 6 p.m.: Happy hour in hotel lobby

Saturday, April 29

  • Last breakfast together, debrief, goodbyes...until next year.
